How It Works
Installed at the bottom of a septic tank, the Septicure™® unit is seeded with the Septicure™®

How Septicure Works
Life relies on biological processes, where living organisms interact with each other. A key process is the efficient recycling of waste by bacteria, transforming it into compounds that other organisms use to sustain life. The efficiency of this recycling depends on the types of bacteria and their oxygen environment. Septicure is designed with these factors in mind: it employs highly effective bacteria to break down human waste by providing them with the necessary oxygen-rich environment within a septic system. Traditional septic systems lack this design, which is why they can’t match what Septicure achieves.
The Septicure Process
Septic Tank Cleaning
The Septicure “incubator” fosters a large population of Septicure Blend Bacteria, which digest and break down the organic waste entering the septic tank. This process cleans the tank of organic solids, reducing or eliminating the need for pumping.
Drain Field Restoration
The oxygen-rich effluent, carrying the Septicure Blend Bacteria, flows from the septic tank into the failing drain field. Here, the bacteria digest the accumulated organic matter that had previously clogged the system.
Biomat Removal
The bacteria attach to the clogging biomat—a layer responsible for over 95% of drain field failures—and consume it. Once the biomat is removed, the drain field can properly absorb liquid again, restoring its function. As long as Septicure is in operation and maintained, the drain field is protected from future biomat-related failures.
